Scored on what recruiters and applicant tracking systems check first: numbers, structure, and how each bullet starts.
What the score checks
Measured results. A bullet with a number a recruiter can picture (people, money, percent, time, volume) beats one that only lists a duty. This is the biggest part of the score.
Structure. A summary, experience, skills, and education section with plain headings, and an email or phone number at the top, so applicant tracking systems can read every part.
Strong openers. Bullets that start with what you achieved, not with "Responsible for" or "Helped with".

Questions people ask
- Is the resume checker free?
- Yes. There is no sign up and no limit. Paste your resume and get your score and fixes right away.
- Is my resume saved or sent anywhere?
- No. The check runs in your browser, so your resume never leaves your device.
- What is a good resume score?
- 80 or more is strong. Between 60 and 79 is a good base that a few fixes will lift. Below 60, start with the first fix in your list: it is the one that moves the score most.
- How is the score worked out?
- The same way every time, from what recruiters and applicant tracking systems check first: how many bullets show a measured result, whether the standard sections and a contact line are there, and whether bullets open with an achievement instead of a duty.
- Can Plucky fix my resume for me?
- Yes. Plucky rewrites your resume for a specific job, maps it to every requirement in the job description, and marks where a number belongs. Every claim stays true to your real experience.
